When using that version, I received this warning:

"For Script Code highlighter to work you need to select {Extended} under Functionality".

The question of million is: where is such an option"? In TinyMCE plugin? I could not find it there and in fact, in document page (scriptplaza.com/component/content/articl...test.html?Itemid=101), this is not mentioned.

Regards,
Jaime
We are extremely sorry as it is not thoroughly checked with latest version 3.8.1. The plugin as such is working fine with joomla 3.8.1 but the tinymce settings are completely changed in 3.8.1. We suspect there may be some other issues particular to your theme that you are using. You can verify the same with core joomla installation.

I will appreciate you show me what else do I need to check in Joomla core installation. What may be in conflict with your plugin?

I have changed Joomla templates and the same happen. The fact that the
tags are still shown, so I think this is not a Joomla template issue.

We have reproduced the issue in our server. When we have multiple codes the first one shows error. Very soon we will come out with a solution and let you know. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

The issue has been rectified. by looking at the source code we were getting </br> tags in between
and </pre> tags. This was the reason it was unable to parse some codes. That has been taken care in this version 1.2.0. We request you to check this new version and let us know.

You can download it from here files.fm/u/66ddy55g.

Unfortunately it still does not work.

I have explicitly removed previous version and i checked that scriptcodehighlighter folder was removed from plugins folder.

Then, I installed he new version.

After installation, I saw something that is strange to me.

Please see the attached screenshot.

There are 4 more entries in Extension Manager: Button - Script Code Highlighter (GeSHi), Content - Script Code Highlighter (GeSHi), pkg_scriptcodehighlighter, Script Code Highlighter!. First 2 are disabled by default, so I have enabled them.

Last entry is the Script Code Highlighter menu item. When I go to that option, a blank page with the text "Script Code Highlighter" appears.

To test, I opened the document and re-save it, but it did not work either.

Article has this text inside it:
<p>El c&oacute;digo resultante hasta el momento es:</p>
<pre xml:lang="csharp">
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.ComponentModel;
using System.Text;
using System.Web;
using System.Web.UI;
using System.Web.UI.WebControls;
using System.Drawing;
namespace Desytec.Web.UI.WebControls
{
    [ToolboxBitmap(typeof(RutValidator), "RutValidator.bmp")]
    [ToolboxData("&lt;{0}:RutValidator runat=\"server\"&gt;&lt;/{0}:RutValidator&gt;")]
    public class RutValidator : BaseValidator
    {
    }
}
</pre>
<p> </p>
What else may I try?

Regards
Jaime
